I moved to Winchester from the Basque Country in 2006, which is when I joined the fantastic team at The Independent Holiday Shop.

 

I have always loved working in the travel industry.  I started work as a travel agent in my home town of Tolosa, where I mainly focussed on Latin rooted countries predominantly in South America.  I feel my knowledge of this part of the world is an asset to our office but at the same time I enjoy learning something new every day!

 

Working at The Independent Holiday Shop has given me fantastic opportunities to travel to some amazing places.  One of my latest trips was to Washington and Virginia Beach which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Washington is a beautiful city, easy to walk around and it offers history, fantastic museums, great dining venues, events and so much more.  In Virginia we went kayaking with dolphins and enjoyed the beaches and the oceanfront entertainment.

 

Some of my other favourite places are Iceland and The Azores.
