Thank you for finding us a great holiday in Greece last August. I’m sorry its taken so long to email you I’ve been meaning to contact you and tell you how it went and help you with selling this holiday to others in the future.

The resort of Mikros Gialos was a bustling tourist beach in the daytime – finding a space on the beach was tricky at times and cars parking caused some difficulties to pedestrians and if you wanted to get out of the villa in the day. However the beach had good facilities. We hired a paddleboard one day and were tempted by the kayaking trips. At the end of the beach there was an amazing place for snorkelling – it was like swimming in an aquarium. The two tavernas in the small harbour were traditional and worth booking – a lovely short stroll in the evening. We especially enjoyed the squid and octopus. Although not seen, insects were a bit of a pest, and we soon learned to use plenty of repellent.

The villa was perfect for us. Although no sea views there was no climb to the beach and it was very quiet. The outside area was massive for a two-bed property and the BBQ although basic was effective and well used. The Roses, lavender and ancient olive trees were beautiful and sweet smelling. Although we had to take care with inflatables with the thorns! The master bedroom was well away from the kids downstairs. Excellent too for our teenager/pre teen but maybe not for a younger family.

The villa had a rustic feel and we had a few issues with the electrics. But saying that the rep and owner were quick to sort out any problems. The Ionian & Aegen Island Holiday Rep was excellent. He didn’t waste time selling us trips but helped us hire a boat. He greeted us off the flight and said farewell at the airport on our way home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
