Puffins

WALES

I recently spent a delightful week’s holiday in Pembrokeshire.

It is the only coastal National Park in the UK. The main attractions are walking the coastal path and bird watching.

The coastal scenery is stunning with huge, empty sandy beaches, reminiscent of Cornwall.

The best time for bird watching is in Spring, when you can take a boat trip around Skomer Island to see the puffins and guillemots.

Pembrokeshire will give you a warm welsh welcome and you can indulge in some local specialities, for example Cawl (lamb stew) and Bara Brith (rich fruit loaf).

This area of Wales is an ideal destination for everyone with accommodation to suit all needs and budgets.
