I can’t quite believe it’s been 40 years since I first started working in this amazing, if stressful at times, industry.  It has changed beyond all recognition during those years, but I still get a buzz out of transforming an enquiry into a wonderful holiday.  Especially, when it’s a complicated itinerary that requires a lot of research.

 

As much as I have enjoyed everywhere that I have been fortunate enough to visit over the years, such as, Cuba, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Morocco and Croatia, Vietnam stands out as a real favourite, with its mixture of old and new.  The Halong Bay overnight cruise was out of this world and Hoi An, with it’s 18th Century Japanese Bridge,  perfect for pottering, or try your hand at cooking.  We stayed at the beach front Boutique Hoi An Resort which I loved.   

 

I will be ticking off another one of my ‘must visit’ places next year, India’s Golden Triangle and Kerela.  Very excited!!
